This is the only content I felt I needed to share yesterday as well — as a white U.S. citizen living outside the U.S. (in Berlin), I feel a tension between wanting to continue enjoying the traditions of my childhood related to this day (fireworks, picnics, community) but and this is a huge but. I don’t want to further nationalist propaganda. Reflections in progress! Thanks for sharing!
